The FortiAP 234G is Fortinet's ruggedized Wi-Fi 6E access point for indoor and outdoor deployments where ordinary APs can't survive. Its weather-sealed enclosure handles temperature swings, dust and moisture while three radios serve clients on 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz at once, with 2x2 MU-MIMO and the clean 6 GHz spectrum that Wi-Fi 6E unlocks. A 2.5 Gigabit multigigabit uplink keeps backhaul ahead of the air, and 802.3at PoE makes it easy to power over a single outdoor-rated cable. Integrated BLE / Zigbee and on-board GPS add asset tracking, beacons and precise locationing for logistics and outdoor campuses. Like every FortiAP it is managed directly by a FortiGate or by FortiEdge Cloud - no separate controller and no per-AP management license - and inherits the Security Fabric's rogue scanning and WIPS. For outdoor Wi-Fi 7 step up to the 432G tri-radio; for indoor 6E look at the 431G.

Yes. The 234G is a ruggedized indoor / outdoor access point with a weather-sealed enclosure built for extended temperature, dust and moisture – ideal for yards, warehouses, stadiums and outdoor campuses.
It is a Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) AP with three radios and 2×2 MU-MIMO, reaching about 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, 1.2 Gbps on 5 GHz and 2.4 Gbps on 6 GHz (roughly 4.2 Gbps aggregate), with up to 24 SSIDs.
It runs on standard 802.3at PoE and uplinks over a 2.5 Gigabit multigigabit RJ45 (plus a second Gigabit port and RS-232 serial), so a single outdoor-rated cable carries power and backhaul.
