It is the FortiGate 2600F platform with 2x 960 GB NVMe SSD added for local logging and reporting. It delivers 25 Gbps of threat protection, 31 Gbps IPS throughput, 198 Gbps firewall throughput, and 24 million concurrent sessions in a 2RU rack appliance — with four 100GE QSFP28 uplinks, sixteen 25GE SFP28 slots, and sixteen 10GE / GE RJ45 ports. Ideal for large enterprise data centers and service-provider cores that need very high session capacity plus on-box logs without sending everything to FortiAnalyzer.

The FortiGate 2601F is a current-generation model, fully supported with active FortiGuard and FortiCare subscriptions available for 1, 3, and 5-year terms.
Performance is identical — both run on the same NP7 + CP9 platform. The FortiGate 2601F adds 2x 960 GB onboard NVMe SSD storage for local logging and reporting; the 2600F has no onboard storage. Choose the 2601F when you want on-box logs without deploying a FortiAnalyzer.
The 2601F-DC is the same appliance with dual −48V to −60V DC power supplies instead of AC, for telco central offices and DC-powered racks. Performance, interfaces, onboard SSD, and FortiGuard licensing are identical.
