Activation and Delivery

Yes. The 4-Hour Onsite Engineer Priority RMA is an add-on that requires FortiCare Premium or FortiCare Elite to already be active on the FortiGate 50G. FortiCare Essential customers are not eligible for any Priority RMA add-on.

What happens when I open an RMA case?

Fortinet support triages the issue and, once a hardware failure is confirmed, dispatches a replacement unit and an on-site engineer. The engineer racks and cables the replacement and takes the defective unit with them if requested. Restoring your configuration from backup is done separately.

Does coverage extend through weekends?

Yes. Priority RMA options, including this 4-hour onsite service, cover weekends and holidays. The 4-hour SLA applies regardless of when the failure occurs.

Is this license available worldwide?

Can I renew or upgrade the term at the end of the year?

Yes. Annual renewal uses the same FC-10-GT50G-212-02-12 SKU. If you decide the 3-year or 5-year term is a better fit, those SKUs are FC-10-GT50G-212-02-36 and FC-10-GT50G-212-02-60 respectively and can be ordered separately for the next coverage period.
