FortiCare Premium keeps the FortiWiFi 51G-A on a fully supported footing. The 1-year term (FC-10-FW51G-247-02-12) is the minimum contract length and suits organizations that renew their IT subscriptions annually or need to activate support on a recently deployed FWF-51G-A. All FortiCare Premium features are included: 24×7 TAC access with a 2-hour critical response target, next-business-day hardware replacement, and firmware update rights, with no difference in coverage relative to a 3-year or 5-year subscription.

What FortiCare Premium Covers

FortiCare Premium provides comprehensive support coverage for the FWF-51G-A. TAC is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by phone and through the Fortinet web portal, with a 2-hour response commitment on P1 critical cases. Hardware replacement is handled under a next-business-day RMA: if the appliance fails, Fortinet ships a replacement unit before the end of the following business day. Firmware access remains open throughout the contract, enabling the unit to receive Fortinet OS updates and security patches as they are released.

This subscription covers FortiCare support only. FortiGuard security services (IPS, antivirus, web filtering, DNS filtering) are separate and are typically purchased as part of a UTP or Enterprise bundle subscription for the FWF-51G-A.
