The FortiGate 60E-POE is a desktop branch firewall with Power over Ethernet ports, able to power a handful of APs, IP phones or cameras directly from the firewall at a small site. It is past End of Order — DataCenter360.ca supplies FortiGuard and FortiCare renewals for units already in service, and can quote the FortiGate 70G-POE as a replacement.

No. The FortiGate 60E-POE passed End of Order on 2022-10-14, so Fortinet no longer sells new units and there is no channel left to source the appliance from. DataCenter360.ca supplies FortiGuard and FortiCare renewals for units already in service. For a new deployment, see the FortiGate 70G-POE.
Renewals are available until 2026-10-14 (the Last Service Extension Date), and Fortinet support for the platform ends 2027-10-14. After the LSED no further coverage can be purchased at any price, so plan the migration before that date.
The FortiGate 70G-POE is the current-generation equivalent. It runs current FortiOS with the same FortiGuard service catalog, so policies and subscriptions carry over, and FortiConverter can migrate the configuration. Ask us to size it against your actual throughput.
Fortinet has withdrawn the datasheet for this model, so we do not republish performance figures for it — we would rather show nothing than numbers we cannot verify against a current source. If you need the archived specifications for an audit or a sizing exercise, ask us and we will dig them out.
The appliance keeps forwarding traffic, but FortiGuard signature updates stop immediately: no new IPS, antivirus, web-filtering or application-control intelligence. FortiCare TAC support and hardware RMA also lapse. On a platform this far through its life that is the point to move, not to renew again.
