The FortiSwitch 2048F-B2F is the back-to-front airflow variant of the FortiSwitch 2048F. It is the same high-density data center switch — 48 ports of 1/10/25 GE on SFP28, eight flexible 40/100 GE QSFP28 uplinks, two 10 GE SFP+ ports and 4 Tbps of switching capacity at sub-microsecond latency — but with reversed airflow direction. The B2F model draws cool air from the back of the chassis and exhausts from the front, which is the correct orientation for hot-aisle/cold-aisle data centers where the rear of the rack faces the hot aisle. The standard FS-2048F uses front-to-back airflow. Both variants share the same FortiCare support and RMA services.
