The FS-AX9000G-LC10S is the 10 gigabit fibre line card for the FortiSwitch AX9000G chassis family. Its 48 SFP+/SFP ports accept either 10 GE or 1 GE optics, which makes it the card to use where a mix of legacy gigabit fibre and 10 GE aggregation lands on the same chassis. Two further 10 GE SFP+ ports serve as uplinks.
Four LC10S cards in an FS-AX9004G give 200 ports of 10 GE in a single 11RU chassis — the densest 10 GE configuration in the AX9000G range. There is no Power over Ethernet on this card; for a powered access edge the LC10P provides multi-gigabit copper with 802.3bt instead.
One point to watch when ordering optics: the 48 primary ports take 1 GE SFP transceivers, but the two 10 GE SFP+ uplink ports do not. The card is hot swappable, fits both the FS-AX9004G and the FS-AX9008G, and occupies one line-card slot.

A line card does not work on its own. It needs an AX9000G chassis with a supervisor module, fan modules and power supplies. The optics and cables below match this card's ports.
Media and power. The LC10S is 48 ports of SFP+/SFP fibre at 10 or 1 GE with no Power over Ethernet. The LC10P is 48 RJ45 copper ports at 1/2.5/5/10 GE with 802.3bt PoE up to 90 W per port. Both add two 10 GE SFP+ uplinks and both occupy one line-card slot.
The 48 primary ports do — they run at 10 GE or 1 GE, so existing gigabit fibre links keep working. The two dedicated 10 GE SFP+ uplink ports do not support 1 GE SFP. Worth checking before you order optics.
Two hundred. Four LC10S cards in an FS-AX9004G give 48 primary plus 2 uplink ports each, which is the densest 10 GE configuration in the AX9000G family. The eight-slot FS-AX9008G takes eight cards.

No. The AX9000G family is managed through FortiSwitchNMS. Fortinet has stated that Security Fabric integration through FortiLink is planned for this platform, but it is not available today.
