The FortiAP 433G is a high-density Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) indoor access point built for demanding spaces — large open offices, lecture halls, conference centres and busy retail — using external RP-SMA antennas for flexible coverage shaping. It is the external-antenna sibling of the internal-antenna FortiAP 431G. Its tri-radio design runs two 4x4 client radios that can operate as 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz + 6 GHz, or as 2.4 GHz + dual 5 GHz for extra capacity, alongside a dedicated scanning radio for always-on security; an integrated BLE / ZigBee radio and GPS handle beacons and locationing. The 433G runs on-device UTP services — Application Control and Web Filtering at the AP itself — and is managed by any FortiGate or by FortiAP Cloud, with no separate controller. The 433G is end-of-order but remains in our catalog, fully supported and renewable through 2030. For the newer Wi-Fi 7 generation step up to the FortiAP 443K, which keeps the same 4x4 external-antenna indoor form factor and adds 4096-QAM and dual 10 GbE uplinks; the 431G is the internal-antenna equivalent.
