The FortiAP 443K is Fortinet's high-performance external-antenna Wi-Fi 7 indoor access point — the same four-radio 4x4 platform as the 441K, but with RP-SMA antenna connectors instead of internal antennas. It serves the 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz bands simultaneously while a fourth radio runs continuous 24x7 background scanning for rogue APs, WIPS / WIDS and spectrum analysis without taking capacity away from clients. The full Wi-Fi 7 toolkit — OFDMA, 4096-QAM, Multi-Link Operation, BSS coloring and Target Wake Time — delivers up to roughly 21.3 Gbps of aggregate radio throughput and serves up to 512 clients per radio. Two 10 Gigabit multigigabit Ethernet ports give redundant, non-blocking uplinks, and the AP draws full 4x4 power from a single 802.3bt PoE port (or 2x 802.3at). External RP-SMA connectors let you fit directional, sector or high-gain antennas to shape coverage in warehouses, stadiums, atriums and other large or irregular spaces. An integrated BLE / Zigbee radio and on-board GPS support beacons, locationing and IoT, and the AP is managed by any FortiGate, by FortiEdge Cloud or through FortiSASE — no separate controller and no per-AP management licence. For clean internal antennas choose the sibling 441K; for 2x2 density step down to the 241K or 243K. Use of the 6 GHz band is subject to regional regulatory approval.

The 443K ships with a standard ceiling / T-rail / wall mount kit; RP-SMA antennas are ordered separately to match your coverage. For full 4x4 power use an 802.3bt switch port, the GPI-145 multigig injector, or the SP-FAP250-PA-10 AC adapter.
The FortiAP 443K is a current-generation Wi-Fi 7 access point, actively sold and fully supported. It is not on an end-of-order or end-of-support schedule.
They are the same high-performance quad-radio 4×4 Wi-Fi 7 platform. The 443K exposes external RP-SMA connectors so you can fit directional, sector or high-gain antennas for warehouses, stadiums and other large or irregular spaces; the 441K uses internal antennas for clean ceiling and T-rail mounting. Radios, spatial streams and uplinks are otherwise identical.
Four radios plus BLE / Zigbee and GPS: a 4×4 radio each on 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz, and a dedicated fourth radio for 24×7 background scanning, WIPS / WIDS and spectrum analysis. Each client radio is 4×4 MU-MIMO, for up to roughly 21.3 Gbps of aggregate radio throughput.
It needs 802.3bt PoE (or two 802.3at feeds) for full 4×4 operation and draws up to 41.7 W; an 802.3at-only feed runs a reduced 2×2 mode. Uplinks are two 10 Gigabit multigigabit RJ45 ports (100M / 1G / 2.5G / 5G / 10G). Power it from an 802.3bt switch, the GPI-145 injector or the SP-FAP250-PA-10 AC adapter.
The 443K has external RP-SMA connectors (10 in total) so you choose antennas to match the space — omnidirectional, directional or sector. The mount kit is included; antennas are ordered separately. This flexibility is the main reason to choose the 443K over the internal-antenna 441K.
