It delivers PoE+ (802.3af/at) on 24 ports with a 370 W budget to power FortiAPs, IP phones and cameras, plus four 10 GbE SFP+ uplinks and 176 Gbps of switching capacity. Managed over FortiLink from any FortiGate, it folds wired access into the Security Fabric — one console for switching, Wi-Fi and security, with no separate controller. It also runs standalone. For data only choose the 148F; for PoE on every port choose the 148F-FPOE (740 W).

All 148F models share the same 48-port / 176 Gbps platform. They differ by Power over Ethernet: the 148F has no PoE, the 148F-POE powers 24 ports (370 W), and the 148F-FPOE powers all 48 ports (740 W).
The 148F-POE is the 48-port member of the F-series PoE access line. Step down to the 24-port 124F-POE or the 8-port 108F-POE for smaller closets. Same FortiSwitchOS and FortiLink management across the range.
