All 148F models share the same 48-port / 176 Gbps platform with four 10GE SFP+ uplinks. They differ by Power over Ethernet: the data-only 148F has no PoE output, the 148F-POE powers 24 ports (370 W), and the 148F-FPOE powers all 48 ports (740 W).
The 148F is the 48-port data-only member of the 100-series Secure Access line. The 124F covers 24 ports and the 108F covers 8 ports for smaller sites. Same FortiSwitchOS and FortiLink management across the range; step up to the 148F-POE or 148F-FPOE when you need PoE.
