The FortiSwitch 108F is a compact, fanless 8-port Gigabit access switch for offices, retail counters and small remote sites. It offers eight GbE RJ45 ports plus two GbE SFP fiber uplinks, with 20 Gbps of switching capacity, in a silent desktop form factor that also takes an optional 19-inch rack bracket. The 108F is data only; one RJ45 port is PoE-PD capable, so the unit itself can be powered over Ethernet from an upstream switch. Managed over FortiLink from any FortiGate, it folds wired access into the Security Fabric — one console for switching, Wi-Fi and security, with no separate controller. It also runs standalone. All 108F models share the same 8-port / 20 Gbps platform with two GbE SFP uplinks. They differ by Power over Ethernet: the 108F has no PoE output, the 108F-POE powers 8 ports (65 W), and the 108F-FPOE powers 8 ports at the higher 130 W budget.
