All 148F models share the same 48-port / 176 Gbps platform with four 10GE SFP+ uplinks. They differ by Power over Ethernet: the 148F-FPOE powers all 48 ports at 740 W, the 148F-POE powers 24 ports at 370 W, and the data-only 148F has no PoE output.
The 148F-FPOE is the 48-port full-PoE+ member of the 100F-series Secure Access line. The 124F-FPOE covers 24 PoE+ ports and the 108F-FPOE covers 8 for smaller sites. Same FortiSwitchOS and FortiLink management across the range; step down to the 148F-POE or data-only 148F when you need less PoE.
