It offers 24 GbE RJ45 ports plus four 10GE SFP+ fiber uplinks, with PoE+ (802.3af/at) on 12 of those 24 ports and a 185 W power budget, and 128 Gbps of switching capacity in a 1RU rack-mount chassis. The 185 W budget is enough for a typical mix of access points, IP phones and security cameras. Managed over FortiLink from any FortiGate, it folds wired access into the Security Fabric — one console for switching, Wi-Fi and security, with no separate controller. It also runs standalone.
