The FortiSwitchRugged 108F (FSR-108F) is a fanless, DIN-rail FortiSwitch from Fortinet's rugged range, built for compact edge cabinets, remote sensor closets and small OT cells where space and power budget are tight and no PoE device is present. Like the rest of the FortiSwitch Rugged family it has no moving parts, runs from -40 to 75°C on dual DC power and ships in an IP40 chassis rated for industrial and outdoor mounting. It carries 6x ge rj45 + 2x ge sfp, delivers 16 Gbps of switching capacity at 23.8 Mpps forwarding with a 16,000-entry MAC table, and switches with sub-microsecond latency. PoE is not fitted on this model. It is Layer 2 only and manages over FortiLink from any FortiGate, so the same Security Fabric policies, VLAN segmentation and network access control used on the rest of the estate extend to the industrial edge with no separate switch console.

A fanless IP40 chassis, DIN-rail mount and dual DC power inputs let it run at -40 to 75°C in industrial, outdoor and OT environments where a standard access switch fails. There are no fans or moving parts to service.
No. The FSR-108F is the non-PoE member of the FortiSwitch Rugged F-series — it carries 6x ge rj45 + 2x ge sfp with no PoE budget. If you need to power cameras, FortiAPs or sensors from the switch, choose the FortiSwitchRugged 112F-POE or 216F-POE instead.
Over FortiLink from any FortiGate, so switching, Wi-Fi and security share one console with no separate controller. It also runs standalone if FortiLink is not in use.
