The FortiGate 200F is a 1U rackmount next-generation firewall for campuses and larger branch sites. It combines 16 Gigabit RJ45 ports with eight GE SFP slots, two 10GbE SFP+ slots and two 10GbE SFP+ FortiLink slots, and uses Fortinet's NP6XLite and CP9 SPUs to deliver 3 Gbps of threat protection, 27 Gbps firewall throughput, 3 million concurrent sessions and 13 Gbps of IPsec VPN. It runs FortiOS with built-in SD-WAN and ZTNA enforcement, with no add-on license needed for those features, and includes a Trusted Platform Module, Bluetooth Low Energy and dual built-in power supplies for 1+1 redundancy. For onboard log storage choose the 201F, which adds a 480 GB SSD; step down to the 100F for smaller sites, or up to the 400F for data-center-edge throughput.

The 200F is a shipping, fully supported FortiGate ‘F’ series next-generation firewall built on the NP6XLite and CP9 security processors, with active FortiGuard and FortiCare subscriptions available. It is the base model of the 200F line.
The 200F delivers 27 Gbps firewall throughput, 5 Gbps IPS, 3.5 Gbps NGFW, 3 Gbps threat protection and 4 Gbps SSL inspection, with 3 million concurrent sessions and 280,000 new sessions per second.
Sixteen Gigabit RJ45 ports, eight GE SFP slots, two 10GbE SFP+ slots and two 10GbE SFP+ FortiLink slots, plus two GE RJ45 HA/MGMT ports, one USB port and one RJ45 console port.
The 201F adds a 480 GB onboard SSD for local logging, reporting and traffic capture, at slightly higher power draw. Performance, ports, the TPM and the 1U chassis are otherwise identical. For smaller sites choose the 100F; for data-center-edge throughput choose the 400F.
