The FortiSwitch 124G is a 24-port multigigabit (2.5G) access switch for high-density wiring closets and campus edge where bandwidth, not power, is the priority. It delivers 24 2.5GbE RJ45 access ports plus six 10G SFP+ uplinks and 240 Gbps of switching capacity, in a fanless 1 RU chassis. Managed over FortiLink from any FortiGate, it folds wired access into the Security Fabric - one console for switching, Wi-Fi and security, with no separate controller. It also runs standalone. This model is data only; for Power over Ethernet on all 24 ports choose the 124G-FPOE (780 W).

The 124G is the data-only member of the 100G multigigabit access line. Choose the 124G-FPOE for full PoE++ on the same 24 ports, or the compact 110G-FPOE for smaller PoE deployments. Same FortiSwitchOS and FortiLink management across the range.
