It delivers 24 multi-rate RJ45 ports (1/2.5/5 GE) - each capable of 802.3bt (type 4) Power over Ethernet from a 1440 W budget - plus four flexible 1/10/25 GE SFP28 uplinks, 440 Gbps of switching capacity and 654 Mpps forwarding in a 1RU chassis. Hardware MACsec encrypts traffic on the wire, and Layer 2/3 FortiSwitchOS handles segmentation and routing. Managed over FortiLink from any FortiGate, it folds wired access into the Security Fabric - one console for switching, Wi-Fi and security, with no separate controller. Don't need PoE?
