The FortiSwitch 248E-POE is a 48-port Gigabit access switch with Power over Ethernet on 24 ports, built for wiring closets and mid-to-large sites that need a high port count with selective PoE. It offers 48 GbE RJ45 ports (24 with PoE+) plus four 1G SFP fiber uplinks, with a 370 W PoE budget across 24 ports, Layer 2/3 switching and 104 Gbps of switching capacity, in a 1RU rack-mount chassis. With 24 ports supplying 802.3af/at power, it runs access points, IP phones and cameras over a single cable each while leaving 24 data-only ports for the rest of the floor. An optional external FRPS-740 redundant power supply keeps the closet up if the internal PSU fails. Managed over FortiLink from any FortiGate, it folds wired access into the Security Fabric - one console for switching, Wi-Fi and security. It also runs standalone. Need PoE on every port?
