The FortiSwitch 424E-Fiber is a 24-port all-fiber access switch built for fiber-to-the-desk deployments and sites where copper runs are impractical - long distances, electrically noisy environments, or buildings that standardized on fiber. It offers 24 GE SFP access ports plus four 10GE SFP+ fiber uplinks and 128 Gbps of switching capacity, in a 1RU rack-mount chassis with optional redundant AC power. With no PoE output, it is a pure high-density fiber aggregation and access switch. Managed over FortiLink from any FortiGate, it folds wired access into the Security Fabric - one console for switching, Wi-Fi and security, with no separate controller. It also runs standalone. Need copper access ports? Choose the 424E (data only), the 424E-POE (250 W) or the 424E-FPOE (421 W).
