The FortiGate 50G-DSL is a compact desktop next-generation firewall built on Fortinet’s FortiSP5 ASIC with an integrated vDSL2/ADSL2+ broadband modem (RJ11). It delivers 1.1 Gbps of threat protection, 5 Gbps firewall throughput, and 720,000 concurrent sessions, while the onboard DSL modem connects directly to the telephone line — eliminating the need for a separate modem at DSL-served sites. Secure SD-WAN and Universal ZTNA are built into FortiOS at no extra charge.
The DSL port supports vDSL2 (Annexes A, B, I, J, M, L), ADSL2/ADSL2+, G.DMT, T1.413, and G.Lite. The GE RJ45 WAN port can act as a second WAN for SD-WAN failover or load balancing.
