The FortiGate 50G-DSL is a compact desktop next-generation firewall with an integrated VDSL2/ADSL2+ modem, so it plugs straight into a DSL line with no separate modem. Built on Fortinet's SP5 secure SD-WAN ASIC, it delivers 1.1 Gbps of threat protection, 5 Gbps firewall throughput, 720,000 concurrent sessions, and integrated SD-WAN in a fanless desktop unit. It fits small offices, home offices, and branch sites where DSL is the available broadband, and it supports SD-WAN across the DSL and Ethernet WAN ports for link balancing and failover.

The 50G-DSL is a current-generation ‘G’ series FortiGate built on the SP5 secure SD-WAN ASIC, fully supported with active FortiGuard and FortiCare subscriptions. It is the DSL variant of the 50G desktop line.
It includes an integrated modem for VDSL2, ADSL2, ADSL2+, G.DMT, T1.413, and G.Lite (Annex A, B, I, J, M, L), so it connects directly to a DSL line through its RJ11 port with no external modem.
The 50G-DSL adds the integrated VDSL/ADSL modem; the base 50G connects over Ethernet only. Security performance is the same: 1.1 Gbps threat protection, 5 Gbps firewall, 720,000 sessions.
